There is No Such Thing as Gray (2016)

Produced three months following my first institutionalization, this short film tracks the trajectory of grappling with a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder at the age of 21. Referring to the “black-and-white” thinking ascribed to BPD mindsets, the films repurposes symptoms of the disability to generate aesthetic choices, emphasizing extreme polarities, dream/nightmare-like states, hallucinations, and emotional instability.
